The desire to turn the ephemeral joys of summer into something timeless led Beth Maloney to found Summer Hours in 2021.

“I wanted to preserve the scents encountered — and the feelings evoked by — a day at the beach, a walk through the woods, a trip to a favorite spot, a dip in the ocean,” says Beth, who has spent her career providing creative direction to brands. “Who doesn’t want to linger longer in summer?”

Summer Hours’ four fragrances — 80°, Le Week End, Romanesque, and New Wave — are composed of fruits, flowers, vines, and woods at their peak in the months of summer. The ingredients in the scents are clean, vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainable.

They are globally sourced but compounded and bottled in the USA.

The fragrances have resonated with customers and have become favorites of the editors of
Vogue, Goop, Travel+Leisure and more.

Based in the coastal town of Fairfield, Connecticut, Summer Hours is available online and at select stockists nationwide.
